Two-Day Surf Clinic

Our 2-Day Surf Clinics provide students with six hours of surf instruction over the course of two days. For these clinics we maintain a 5:1 student to instructor ratio. While this allows for slightly larger groups, the additional hour provided in each session (typical Bodhi Surf lessons run two hours long, while surf clinics consist of three-hour sessions) permits Bodhi Surf instructors to work with individuals on a personal level while allowing quick learners to have more time in the water.

What Will I Learn In The Surf Clinic?

Like our private and group surf lessons, we teach safety first. This includes general ocean safety, surfboard management, and surfing etiquette which becomes ever more important when surfing in larger groups. You can also expect to learn techniques for paddling, catching waves, and standing up. Our surf clinics are designed to maximize your time in the water so you can expect to get a solid foundation for catching waves on your own, which is a crucial step towards being able to surf independently.

Is A Surf Clinic Right For Me?

The Bodhi Surf Clinics are a great value for students staying in or near Bahia Ballena who would like to take multiple lessons. The surfing lessons are broken down into two three-hour long sessions, ideal for learning techniques on the beach and having ample time to practice in the water. Surf Clinics are ideal for beginner and intermediate surfers. If you are looking for single lessons take a look at our private surf lesson or group surfing lesson options.
