Espiritu Salvaje Yoga Center at La Cusinga Eco Lodge
Great highlights of the article are the information and pictures about the amazing yoga center called “Espiritu Salvaje” at La Cusinga Eco Lodge where Pilar Salazar teaches a combination of Astanga yoga, Vinyasa flow and Anusara yoga, while incorporating techniques for deep breathing, meditation and relaxation. The yoga center, inspired by sacred architecture, has a waiting area, kitchen, yoga storage room, and restrooms. Its yoga platform, constructed with reforested wood holds 35 students and is nestled on proven magnetic land, between primary and secondary rainforest and the Pacific Ocean. From the yoga platform, students are offered great views of the Marino Ballena National Park, Playa Uvita, and Playa Colonia where Bodhi Surf teaches private and group surf lessons. Overall, the articles in the issue serve as a general Costa Rica yoga guide and explain different types of yoga, the benefits of yoga and the definition of common yoga terms. You will also find information about yoga centers and platforms in the mountains and cities of Costa Rica.
