Costa Rica Accommodations: Ecolodge & Vacation Rentals

For our vacation packages we currently offer our guests two lodging options: an ecolodge or a house rental.

Eco-Lodge

The ecolodge is none other than the highly acclaimed “La Cusinga Lodge”. Located just ten minutes South of Bahia Ballena on a hillside overlooking the Ballena Marine National Park, this Costa Rica ecolodge offers visitors breath-taking sunsets and scenic views amid the lush Costa Rican jungle. As a recognized eco-friendly lodge with superb customer service who has received a rating of 4 out of 5 green leaves in Costa Rica’s Certification for Sustainable Tourism Program and was listed as one of the top three eco-friendly hotels by TripAdvisor, as well as awarded “Best Hidden Gem” in 2009, we are ecstatic to offer La Cusinga as one of our main accommodation options.

La Cusinga Lodge is also home to one of the most stunning yoga platforms in all of Costa Rica. The peaceful and natural surroundings of the lodge alone make it an ideal place for the practice of yoga, but when combined with this one-of-a-kind structure it makes for a truly unique experience for guests on our Holistic Yoga Surf Vacation Package.

House Rentals

Another lodging option for our guests are typical, fully-furnished Costa Rican homes. This option is a great deal for families or small groups. Choose the home that best suits your family or group’s needs. All four homes have stunning views, fully-furnished bedrooms, and functioning kitchens. Whether you’d like to be surrounded by lush Costa Rican vegetation or be a skip and a hop away from the beach, it’s all up to you. The capacity of each home varies, so please read their details below, or if you have questions contact us. The house rentals are booked on first-come, first-served basis and are subject to availability.

Casa Amarilla

This beach front home is the most simple of the four. A rustic, wood home fittingly named “Yellow House” offers just what you need for your stay in Costa Rica. While this home may not be a “looker” on the outside, as most typical Costa Rican homes, it is homey on the inside. With two normal-sized bedrooms and one small-sized bedroom, this fully furnished rental makes for an economical and pleasant stay in Costa Ballena. For more images of Casa Amarilla please go here.

Casa Escondida

The “Hidden House” is a 300-yard walk away from the beach. Surrounded by tropical vegetation, don’t be surprised to hear monkeys or birds waking you up in the morning. Casa Luna

The largest of the four, this home offers guests a spectacular view, as well as very comfortable accommodations. It offers four bedrooms and ample common-area space that is fully furnished, along with a kitchen. This house has everything you need to accommodate up to ten adults.
